Western States Lipizzan Association. Inc.

Over 400 years of careful breeding have established the Lipizzan as the epitome of the classical dressage horse, best exemplified by the famous stallions of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna (view Spanish Riding School video). Along with the Lipizzan’s dressage ability and athleticism, the breed is known for intelligence and trainability – all characteristics much in demand by today’s equestrian.

The goal of the WSLA is to promote the breeding and enjoyment of the Lipizzan horse, provide educational opportunities for our members as well as those interested in the Lipizzan breed and sponsor events to showcase the dressage ability of the Lipizzan horse, as well as their versatility in other disciplines such as combined training, hunting, jumping and driving.

We have two levels of membership available and membership is open to anyone interested in the Lipizzan horse. Western States Lipizzan Association membership application.
